Compared to the MC80 Command Cruiser for 106 pts. the Assault Cruiser can only harbor -1 pt. squadron. But it's armed with 2 red dice and 1 blue at the 'front battery' instead of 1 red and 2 blue and 4 red and 2 blue dice at the side batteries instead of 3 red and 3 blue and 2 blue dice anti-squadron-armament instead of 1 blue and 1 black. It has a second Defensive Retrofit Upgrades slot but no Offensive Retrofit Upgrades slot.

The MC80 Home One type Star Cruiser was one of the several MC80 Star Cruiser designs built by the Mon Calamari. Originally fielded before the Galactic Civil War as civilian vessels, they were modified by the Rebel Alliance, and served in command ship and battleship roles in the Alliance Fleet. The MC80 Command Cruiser Home One became famous for its role as Admiral Ackbar's flagship during the decisive battle fought at Endor that was shown in Episode VI.
